Start NPC: Gumbah - Bastok Mines (J-7)
Requirements:
Level 30
Items Needed: Chaosbringer
Title: Dark Sider
Repeatable: No.
Reward: Ability to choose Dark Knight as a job.
Walkthrough
* Speak with Gumbah twice, for two cutscenes (or dialog).
* Travel to the Palborough Mines, and go to the top floor (by walking or taking the elevator).
* Proceed to the boat at ( H-8 ), get on the boat, and pull the lever to activate it.
* Zeid gives you a sword (Chaosbringer), tells you to satisfy its thirst for blood, and to then seek him out again in Beadeaux.
* To satisfy his requirements, you must kill one hundred monsters-- of any type, location, or level-- with it.
* There is no notification once you've reached the required number of kills; keep track yourself.
* Once you kill a hundred monsters, take the blade with you to Beadeaux for a cutscene. You will now be able to become a Dark Knight.
* Important notes about your hundred kills:
* For it to count as a kill, only the finishing blow must be made by a normal attack with the sword.
o Weapon skills that kill the mob do not count as a kill.
o Mobs that self-destruct (goblins, bees, etc.) do not count as a kill.
* The sword has a memory similar to the Trial Weapons; meaning the sword will keep track of your kills regardless if you unequip it, zone, or do anything besides toss it from your inventory.
